Meet Ray Fuentes
I’m Ray Fuentes, and I grew up two blocks off Palm Avenue, surfing the IB Pier before the school bell. My family has Navy roots, so I learned the careful way to pack out a household early — helping neighbors off Ream Field ship their lives across the country on PCS orders.
How this crew started
Before I painted my own name on a truck, I spent years loading vans and running the I-5 for a San Diego outfit. In 2013 I bought one rig and started out on a single rule: treat every load like it belongs to my own family.
We own our trucks
We are a real, licensed Imperial Beach mover — not a broker or a matching app. We own our trucks and run our own W-2, uniformed crew. You are never handed off to a stranger who bid on your job.
- Our equipment: our trucks, our pads, our dollies, maintained in-house.
- Our people: background-checked movers on payroll — never day labor.
- Our word: a flat rate locked in writing before we lift a single box.
Licensed, bonded, insured
We hold a California CPUC household-goods permit plus US DOT & MC authority for interstate work, and we are bonded and insured. Whether it’s a Nestor studio or a Coronado waterfront condo, you get the same paperwork and the same care.
The same crew, start to finish
You’ll get to know the faces. Marcus builds the daily truck board, Hector leads the heavy carries, and I’m still on plenty of jobs myself. We shrink-wrap against the marine-layer damp and lay runners over sandy entryways, so nothing lands salty or scuffed.
